Malala Struggles for Children Rights
When Taliban started banning girls from going schools in Swat back in 2009, she was among the girls who were banned from going to school and thus she's educational career affected at that time. She didn't go to school for many days when military operation was also about to start in the Swat valley back in 2009. At that time, she wrote a diary named "Gul Makai" for the British Broad Casting (BBC) website. She wrote her 15 episodes diary with very interesting end.
She wrote about the circumstances was going on in Swat valley in her diary. Later on, when peace was restored in Swat region, she appeared on many TV channels and her articles and statements were published by many local and international newspapers.
Except that diary, she also struggled for the peace restoration in Swat as well as she worked with other girls to get all of them back to school. She openly talked about the militants Taliban who were threatening the women in the region and especially they were against women's education. And Malala became a real problem for them for so many years.

In 2011, she was nominated for the international children peace prize by Desmond Tutu. She was didn't receive that prize but it was her honor that she was among the nominated 3 children from around the world who were present over there. Though, she got many national awards and prizes by Pakistani Government and local NGOs for her bravery.
9 October 2012 Malala was attacked
9 October was the darkest day for entire Pakistan and for the entire world. Malala Yousafzai was attempt to assassinate in Mingora Swat when she was coming back from School to home. She was attacked by two gunmen in her school bus when she was on the way to home with other friends. She was fired on the head and the bullet went inside her neck and stuck there. The incident sparked the whole country in minutes and she was first taken to Saido sharif in Swat for urgent treatment, but later on she was shifted to Peshawar and then to Rawalpindi.
When Malala was attacked in Swat |
She remained unconscious for 10 days, but after 11 days she came out of coma and opened eyes. Now she is in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the United Kingdom and her doctors says she will get soon. That's the story of Malala Yousafzai. She is now somehow recovered from the critical situation and she has got a new life.

Hi Malala,
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! Nice to learn about you by your beautiful blog. I would like to make your attention please- someone gratings you as a Prophet in your blog. Please remove the comment ASAP. Because as a Muslim we believe Prophet Can't be a woman and Mohammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet. Anyway I've written an article about Love Marriage in Islam into my blog. Have a great life for you. Best of luck...
She is an amazing Woman. I salute her.
ReplyDeleteMalala is a very inspiring person. She fought for her own education with a passion that I somewhat feel bad of what I actually think of school. She almost got herself killed because of how her opinion and speeches about women getting education affected everyone and aroused many support. I have no clue that without Malala, women would in jeopardy of not going to school anymore.
ReplyDeleteYou will always be an inspiration to us, Malala. Thank you for the effort you've done and I hope that your will would be eternal among us woman, if not the whole world.

She did nothing, I myself has not been convinced what she has done ? its just the internatinal lobby who made her prominent for their motives.
ReplyDeleteHats off Malala.., congrats for getting Nobel peace award..
ReplyDeletecab you save a girl who is in 10th and is being forced for forced marriage from dera ismail khan khyber pakhtun khwa. malal can u make any effort for her.
ReplyDeletefake.. their are alot of people working for rights of women and children. its the media that depicted her story in such a way and it is the international lobby behind all this. a person talks about women education and all and does what?? "just talks!!" having british nationality staying there and just TALKING won't make a difference.. anyone remembers the other girls who were injured with her during the incident??? were they not in favour of women empowerment? or were they not part of a larger plan in making of a celebrity that later was awarderd noble prize for what? raising the voice for women education i bet their are alot of people doing same but no one ever recognized as her why is that??
